CC Indicator Setup for eSignal (Subscription Required)

Thank you for ordering the CC Indicator Suite™ package of chart indicators for eSignal. If you have not yet purchased your subscription, please visit the Subscription Sign Up section on the previous page. For help purchasing your subscription, Contact Us.

After purchasing a subscription, please follow the steps below to complete the installation process.

This installation page (and the installer software) will install the Candid Commodities Indicator Suite™ on eSignal versions 10.6 and 11, which as of this writing are the two primary versions that eSignal offers.
If you use the newer version 11 (64 bit) please note you will download a different installer than 10.6 users and version 11 (32 bit) users.

Step 1: Submit your "Machine ID" to Candid Commodities

To authorize users for our indicators, we use a user's "machine ID," or "mac address." Note that this is not the "machine ID" that you can get inside a trading application like dt Pro or NinjaTrader. A machine ID is a unique code on every network card on the planet. To retrieve yours:

• 1. Download this small program on our site. It will display your machine ID.
   Get Machine ID
• 2. E-mail that code directly (along with your charting platform name and whether you're 32 or 64 bit) to Candid Commodities at support@candidcommodities.com so that we can authorize your computer. We manually authorize each machine ID, so please allow 24-48 hours. You can also email it to us via the software.
• IF THE PROGRAM DOES NOT DISPLAY YOUR MACHINE ID: The software will not work on certain systems. In this case, please click here to find out how to manually retrieve your machine ID or simply copy and paste the IDs retrieved and email them to support@candidcommodities.com
• 3. Wait for member services to contact you with confirmation that you are authorized.

Step 2: Download the CC Indicator Installer And Run It

(ONLY AFTER MEMBER SERVICES EMAILS YOU WITH CONFIRMATION THAT YOUR COMPUTER IS ENABLED)

• 1. Close eSignal. Are you using eSignal 10.6? Download and run the program found here to install the indicators. Simply click "next" until complete.
• - OR - Are you using eSignal 11 (32 bit)? Download and run the program found here to install the indicators. Simply click "next" until complete.
• - OR - Are you using eSignal 11 (64 bit)? Download and run the program found here to install the indicators. Simply click "next" until complete.
• 2. After the indicators are installed, you will find basic usage documentation in: C:\Program Files\Candid Commodities\. You may also find these PDF guides under the Documentation section found lower on this page.
• 3. The indicators come with a demo workspaces ("pages") for both versions 10.6 and 11.
  For version 11, it is called "CC.page" and can be downloaded here. (right-click, choose "Save As" and save to My Documents\Interactive Data\eSignal\Pages. To load a page: When eSignal 11 is running, look to the very top-left the screen for the eSignal logo button, choose Open Page and you will see "CC.page" as an available page file.)
  For version 10.6, it is called "CC106.PG" and can be downloaded here. (right-click, choose "Save As" and save to c:\programfiles\eSignal\Pages. To load a page: When eSignal 10.6 is running, look to top menu, choose Page, then Open Page and you will see "CC106.PG" as an available page file.)

How to Insert an Indicator Onto a Chart

Inserting a CC indicator is as simple as inserting any other standard indicator.

Right-click inside the chart area. Then choose Insert Study....

On the top of the new window, choose Formulas in the tab list. Then choose Candid Commodities, then highlight the indicator of your choice. Click Apply, then Close.

To edit an indicator's settings, right-click inside the chart, and choose Edit Chart...

Change the settings as you wish. For CC Boxes™, you'll want to change primarily those highlighted below.

Right-click inside the chart area. Then choose Formulas -> CandidCommodities -> (Your desired indicator).

To configure the indicator settings: right-click, choose Edit Studies...

Change the settings as you wish. For CC Boxes™, you'll want to change primarily those highlighted below.
